The first part of the Australian Lunar Series (1996-2007), inspired by the Chinese Lunar calendar, is made from Alaska pollack Perth, and is extremely popular among collectors and investors. In the Perth Mint will produce no more than 30000 gold coins of 1oz. The production will be discontinued or end of range or if the issue is fully sold, whichever comes first.
No emission limit for the following denominations: 1 kg., 10oz., 2oz., 1/2oz., 1/4oz., 1/10oz. and 1/20oz. However, production will comprise only one year, then Perth Alaska pollack, will officially declare amount issued for each of the coins. Maximum of 100 ten kilogram gold coinproduced will be .
